OUR FOUNDER - Raashi Agrawal
Gaamya
Her love for fashion began in childhood — shaped by the grace and elegance of her grandmothers. Watching them drape sarees and adorn themselves in delicate handwork sparked a fascination for textiles, beauty, and the stories they silently carried.
Though a lawyer by education, Rashi’s heart was always drawn to design. Choosing fashion over a conventional path wasn’t easy — but it was driven by purpose. She envisioned something beyond just clothing: a way to give back to the community by uplifting India’s rich legacy of indigenous crafts.
With roots in Rajasthan, Raashi grew up surrounded by the beauty of traditions like hand-block printing, Gota Patti, Zari, and more. Her deep connection to these crafts inspired her to build a label that not only celebrated these art forms but also supported the artisans behind them.
Through Gaamya, she hopes to make every woman feel beautiful, seen, and connected — as if every piece she wears is not just a garment, but a story told with love, care, and meaning.

At Gaamya, every piece is thoughtfully designed and crafted in Delhi, where creativity meets tradition. Our hand-block printing is done in Jaipur (Sanganer), a hub famous for its exquisite craftsmanship.
The fabrics and materials are carefully sourced from other renowned textile cities like Surat and Banaras, ensuring the highest quality and authenticity in every creation.
This collaboration across India’s vibrant craft hubs ensures that each piece carries the true spirit and artistry of our heritage, proudly made with love and care.
